We are seeking to appoint Interventional and/or General Radiologists to our service at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
About the RoleThe role is based at Tauranga Hospital, with opportunities to support services across the Bay of Plenty, including Whakatāne Hospital.
This position is ideal for Radiologists seeking full-time and part-time hours; please state in your cover letter how many hours and what work schedule you wish to be considered for.
We are looking for experienced professionals who can contribute to our radiology component and general out-of-hours roster with overnight reporting provided by teleradiology services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of our radiology service strategy
- Provide high-quality radiological services to patients in the Bay of Plenty region
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
- FRANZCR or a similar Post Graduate Radiology qualification
- Either have or be eligible for general or vocational Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
- For interventional, you will require previous experience/Post fellowship training in Interventional Radiology with the ability to perform RANZCR Tier B Interventional procedures
