About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Primary Mental Health Clinician or Psychologist to join our team at Health New Zealand - Lakes. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered psychologist or psychological therapist to work in a dynamic and compassionate environment.
The Role Involves:
- Providing individualised, high-quality psychological therapies for people struggling with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Routine use of Feedback Informed Treatment to ensure client-centered care and meaningful change.
- Potential to facilitate groups and work across various locations in the Rotorua area.
- Liaising with colleagues from other organisations and primary care, such as Health Improvement Practitioners.
About You
You will have proven therapy skills and experience in evidence-based talking therapies, ideally brief psychological interventions. A growth mindset and motivation to develop your therapy and formulation skills are essential. You will be a motivated and reliable clinician with high-level relational skills with clients, whanau, and colleagues.
