About This Role
Tauranga Mental Health and Addiction Services is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our Adolescent Mental Health team in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
We are part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, a multidisciplinary team of 26 staff comprising of Nursing, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Administrative Support.
Our Approach
We practice a whanau and community connected approach, so our mahi takes place in homes, schools, community locations as well as our city-based office. Our team has a learning and supportive culture within the team, which leads to opportunities for growth and empowerment for individual staff members and the service.
Your Opportunities
You will have a passion to work with youth and be a Registered Mental Health Professional (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) and have 2 years, or more, experience in a mental health setting, great communication skills and be able to work in a busy team environment. We welcome applications from our diverse Maori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.
