We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Psychiatrist to join our team at Te Whetu Tawera, the Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit.

The successful candidate will have a special interest in adult acute inpatient psychiatry and will work collaboratively with our experienced team to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.

**Job Summary:**

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in on-call roster to ensure 24/7 coverage

**Requirements:**

  • Medical practitioner registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (eligible for Vocational Registration in Psychiatry)
