The National Library of New Zealand is seeking a talented Digital Assets Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Collections Services team, you will be responsible for acquiring, preserving, and providing access to digital collections for the Alexander Turnbull Library.

About the Role
This position involves working closely with curators to acquire digital collections, providing advice on transfer and migration, and carrying out technical appraisal and ingest activities. You will also work collaboratively with teams across the library and engage with international communities of practice.

Your Responsibilities
* Work with curators to acquire digital collections for the Alexander Turnbull Library
* Provide advice on transfer and migration of digital assets
* Carry out technical appraisal and ingest activities
* Collaborate with teams across the library and engage with international communities of practice

You Will Be Successful In This Role If
* You have a postgraduate qualification in librarianship or archival studies, or demonstrated relevant experience
* You have experience with the management of born-digital records and are confident with technology
* You possess high analytical and problem-solving skills
* You can establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with your team and the wider business
