About the Role

Our caregivers assist young people and children who access our services to live independently in their community. These assistants work as part of a team providing 24/7 cover on various shifts and rosters, including responsibilities such as personal care, community outings, integration, and daily living tasks – enabling our clients to be as independent as possible.

Having experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial but not necessary.

Minimum Requirements
  1. A commitment to supporting young people and children to learn new skills and achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Prior experience supporting others with daily living tasks, preferably those with intellectual or physical disabilities.
  3. Ideal experience working with children or youth.
  4. A full driver's license and ability to safely transport passengers in our vans (training provided).
  5. Flexibility to work overnight shifts across various rosters, including weekends.
