About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our consultancy team as we work on innovative projects focused on the design and upgrade of HV Substation facilities across New Zealand.

The successful candidate will have 6 years of experience in power system analysis, particularly with HV/MV substations, and hold a degree in engineering. They will be proficient in industry-standard tools such as DIgSILENT, Sincal, and others, and possess a strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities will include leading technical discussions with clients to determine optimal solutions, developing protection standards and philosophies for both client and internal use, and generating insightful reports based on network and generation studies.

We are seeking a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate professionally with clients and suppliers.
