The role of the Team Leader, Advice and Support is to provide leadership and management to the Te Amaru - Disability Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Support Navigators, Disability and Inclusion Advisors, and Senior Disability and Inclusion Advisor to ensure they are effectively managed.
  • Work closely with the Accessibility and Inclusion Lead to provide coherent, positive operational leadership to the Te Amaru - Disability Services team.
  • Provide advice and support for students, assessing their needs, establishing disability inclusion arrangements as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external services to foster wellbeing, achievement, and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the experience of disabled students and embed disability inclusive approaches at the University.
