Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Provide advice on strategic financial planning and develop metrics to monitor performance against objectives.
  • Decision Support: Deliver timely and accurate advice to senior leaders on financial performance, budgets, and performance measures.
  • Forecasting and Insights: Support managers in preparing forecasts, identifying pressures, and realizing opportunities to manage budgets effectively.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and lead financial monitoring frameworks for Health Crown Entities, providing insights into financial operations and integrated advice to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a finance or relevant field, Chartered Accountant or similar qualification required.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with an ability to analyze detailed financial and non-financial data and provide related advice in simple and clear ways to enable effective decisions.
  • Experience providing proactive, objective and high-quality financial advice, information and analysis and interpretation on business performance issues.
  • Ability to foster good stakeholder relationships that are internal and external to the Ministry through consultation and partnership.
