About the Role:

In this exciting opportunity, you will play a key role in driving procurement efficiency and ensuring the timely delivery of precision-engineered components. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production schedules and business demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing MRP-driven purchasing strategies to meet production schedules.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to source high-quality materials.
• Managing supplier relationships, including contract reviews, performance evaluations, and negotiations to optimise cost, quality, and delivery.
• Identifying new sourcing opportunities and running RFX processes.
• Monitoring and adjusting procurement plans to align with changing production needs and inventory levels.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced purchasing professional with a background in MRP-driven procurement and supplier management within a manufacturing environment. Your ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is critical for accurate component sourcing.

Requirements:

• Experience in MRP driven purchasing.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings for accurate component sourcing.
• Strong supplier management skills with experience working with local and international suppliers.
• A meticulous approach to data accuracy and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
