About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, and participate in an on-call roster.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultant services to individuals in need of specialist care
- Interact and collaborate daily with other departments
- Provide mentorship to junior medical staff assigned to the service
- Possess the ability to work in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community settings inclusive of crisis work
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be a Psychiatrist who is vocationally registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people from various backgrounds.
