Mars has a vacancy for a Claims Coordinator in our Claims Management team. In this role, you'll manage low-risk claims for injured employees and work closely with case managers to implement and deliver services that meet quality standards. To succeed, you'll need strong administrative and communication skills, as well as experience in claims management or a relevant health discipline.

About the Job

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office on completion of training. You'll coordinate and facilitate cover and entitlement services to provide timely and cost-effective solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing claims for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with SLA, AEP audit standards, and legislation.
  • Supporting case managers in the implementation and delivery of services to meet quality standards.
  • Coordinating and facilitating cover and entitlement services to provide timely and cost-effective solutions for clients.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in claims management or equivalent experience in a relevant health discipline or administration.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a case management model of practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
