About the Role
Your clients, who have neurological and/or physical disorders, will benefit from your experience and ability to work in a wider interdisciplinary team. You will be responsible for assessing their needs, and assisting them to meet their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities
You will carry out neuropsychological assessments and occasional capacity assessments. You will work within the rehabilitation team to design and deliver cognitive rehabilitation, psychological support, and behavioral support interventions.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. They must have excellent time management and communication skills, as well as adaptability and flexibility to work effectively with clients and within a changing health environment.

Our Team
Puawai rehabilitation unit is a 12-bed inpatient unit that works mainly with adults (< 65yr) needing neurological and physical rehabilitation. The patient groups include predominantly stroke and TBI, but also a range of other presentations including tumours, hypoxic brain injury, functional neurological disorder, and orthopaedic injury.
