About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Southern. The successful candidate will work with clients who have neurological and/or physical disorders, providing assessments and interventions to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Puawai rehabilitation unit is a dynamic interdisciplinary team providing rehabilitation to patients with diverse needs. We take pride in supporting our staff to grow and enable ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing client needs and developing rehabilitation plans
  • Providing neuropsychological assessments and capacity evaluations
  • Designing and delivering cognitive rehabilitation, psychological support, and behavioral support interventions
  • Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Significant experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
