Operations Role
You'll be part of a team of 12 Geothermal Controllers on 24/7 operations of our generation assets: Nga Awa Purua, Rotokawa, Kawerau and Nga Tamariki. As our assets require operating 24/7, you'll be working on a shift basis, enjoying the lifestyle of a roster-based system.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximising generation through safe operation of the plant within operating envelopes
- Identifying process issues and opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with statutory legislation
- Providing support to the Production Technician as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Engineering or National Certificate in Energy and Chemical Plant (Process Operation) Level 4
- Preferable to have some if not all the following experience: Experience working on a High Hazard Facility and within Process Safety, Experience in electricity generation, geothermal an advantage
