Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our head office team in Auckland, reporting to the IT Manager in Sydney, Australia. This role will involve providing IT support to our Australian and New Zealand employees, covering Pronto ERP System support, Cognos Reporting, Trueforms Printing, and delivering remote hardware and software/OS support services.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Provide advanced IT support services to staff in Australia and NZ to resolve product use, problems, and questions relating to enterprise systems, networks, and application software.
  • Maintain Office 365, ensuring seamless collaboration with Japan Support office.
  • Manage user administration and server monitoring, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Perform daily server checks and log analysis to identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate critical customer issues and new product/system implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain BAU Practices Incident management and change management processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate alerts and situation status information to clients and vendors, maintaining open channels of communication.
  • Provide training to End Users for Shimano Business applications, enhancing their productivity and efficiency.
Required Skills:

To succeed in this role, you must possess experience in:

  • Pronto ERP systems, Windows Servers 2019/2022, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Palo Devices.
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, DNS, DHCP.
  • Ticketing systems like Freshworks/SNOW.
  • Previous experience in a BAU server support role.
