Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our head office team in Auckland, reporting to the IT Manager in Sydney, Australia. This role will be responsible for providing IT support to our Australian and New Zealand employees, focusing on Pronto ERP System support, Cognos Reporting, Trueforms Printing, and delivering remote hardware and software/OS support services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 2nd level remote hardware and software/OS support services to staff in Australia and NZ to resolve product use, problems, and questions relating to enterprise systems, networks, and application software.
  • Maintain Office 365, including collaboration with Japan Support office.
  • Manage user administration and server monitoring.
  • Analyze daily server checks and logs.
  • Coordinate critical customer issues and new product/system implementations.
  • Develop and maintain BAU Practices Incident management and change management processes.
  • Communicate alerts and situation status information to clients and vendors.
  • Provide training to End Users for Shimano Business applications.

  • Pronto ERP systems.
  • Windows Servers 2019/2022.
  • Hyper-V.
  • Active Directory.
  • Palo Devices.
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • DNS, DHCP.
  • Ticketing systems like Freshworks/SNOW.
