Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Category Produce Manager to join our team. As a key member of our produce category management team, you will be responsible for owning the deliverables for the produce category, aligning priorities with our overall business strategy, and agreeing goals, measures, and service levels to grow and maintain market share.

Responsibilities
* Plan, organize, and deliver results for the produce category
* Establish operational standards and ensure brand-consistent positioning across Foody's
* Provide ongoing education for store buyers, sales managers, and owners to enhance knowledge of the produce category
* Manage key relationships, including sales growth, margin enhancement, onboarding, and maintenance of national accounts business
* Develop and explore opportunities for prepared produce, including range development and end-user business development
* Manage pricing into national accounts and support customer tender processes
* Streamline processes and simplify ordering for store buyers to access best prices with minimal administration

Requirements
* Experience in buying or from a store with a background in FMCG or fresh produce
* Operational management experience, including ranging, sourcing, pricing, and promotion
* Business analysis, trends, and problem identification skills
* Comfortable with negotiation and management of commercial supplier/distribution agreements
* Understanding of market trends and influences within New Zealand and globally
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and have an eye for detail
* Proficiency in SAP and Excel
