About the Role

Burwood Hospital is a friendly facility situated near Burwood Forest. It offers excellent working conditions and a wide range of clinical environments. We have two part-time, permanent positions available for Enrolled Nurses.

As an Enrolled Nurse in our Spinal Unit, you will be working with a dedicated team to provide top-class care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. A patient's journey in the spinal unit is complex and challenging, so we need someone who is positive and passionate about rehabilitation to ensure our patients reach their full potential.

We encourage applicants who are motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses with at least one year's post-graduate medical or surgical experience. You should also be competent in te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or willing to start your journey and take ownership of your learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
