About the Team

The Transpower Sustainability team is responsible for improving the sustainability of our ongoing operations while driving long-term change. The Sustainability team develops the sustainability strategy, which is underpinned by an extensive implementation programme to ensure we continually improve the sustainability of our operations across all divisions and teams within Transpower, as well as with our service provider, supplier, and community partners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing sustainability initiatives that align with Transpower's Sustainability Strategy;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive behaviour change and embed sustainable practices across the organisation;
  • Providing expert advice on climate risk management and sustainability reporting.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practices and processes; possess strong coordination, organisational, and administrative skills, with the ability to multi-task, pick things up quickly, and apply keen attention to detail while remaining results-focused.
