Commercial Growth Manager

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Commercial Growth Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and increasing acceptance of American Express cards among merchants in New Zealand.
In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your goal will be to deliver sustainable profitable growth for the company, closing out key acceptance opportunities and improving Coverage.
To achieve this, you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the payment industry and its trends. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed research to establish a thorough understanding of a merchant's business.
- Developing new and creative card acceptance commercial propositions.
- Working closely in partnership with multiple key Amex stakeholders.
