About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Haematologist to join our team at Dunedin Hospital. As a senior member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients across Otago and Southland.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert care to patients with malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions
  • Mentoring junior staff members and contributing to the development of our team's skills and knowledge
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborations to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with advanced training in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology
  • Eligibility for vocational or locum tenens registration in Internal Medicine and Pathology with the Medical Council of New Zealand
