Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Coordinator to join our team at Together Women's Health Imaging Center. As a key member of our imaging department, this individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of mammography services, ensuring the efficient operation of our breast imaging practice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reports Generation: Generate daily and weekly reports for review and follow-up in accordance with regulatory agencies.
- Tracking Outstanding Patients: Continuously monitor outstanding patients to schedule a 6-month follow-up exam, Bi-RADs 0 additional imaging, MRI, and biopsy recommendations.
- Letters and Reports: Send certified letters as required by Radiology Services policies for patients who have not scheduled appropriate follow-up and track and review breast imaging reports for accuracy.
- Pathology Results: Review all pathology results and malignant staging information for breast biopsy procedures performed and track into the tracking system.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate patient schedules, ensure timely completion of imaging studies, and communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, and/or administrative support duties.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft products, and excellent communication skills.
