Job Description
This Senior Water Network Engineer/Hydraulic Modeller position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating Drinking Water hydraulic models.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain Drinking Water hydraulic models.
- Contribute to the development of operations and capex proposals.
- Provide technical advice to network operations, planning, engineering, and asset management teams.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews (peer review) of outsourced model build projects and master planning studies.
- Support strategic network planning and development control.
- Utilise calibrated hydraulic models to assess network performance against levels of service.
- Project manage external model build contracts.

About You
- You will have a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in Drinking water hydraulic modelling.
- Modelling project management experience is required.
- You should have a continuous improvement mindset with strong data analytics skills.
- Proven ability to innovate and implement new modelling techniques is necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring would be beneficial.
