Job Description

This role involves contributing to high-profile water supply projects that deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. You will develop, calibrate, maintain, and operate water supply hydraulic models to support the growth agenda with respect to water infrastructure planning and network performance.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of operations and capital expenditure proposals
  • Support the growth agenda with respect to water infrastructure planning and network performance
  • Help lead, inspire, develop, and mentor less experienced colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering or science
  • Experience in drinking water hydraulic modelling, ideally using InfoWorks WS Pro or WaterGEMS
  • A background in drinking water network planning and water infrastructure solutions
  • Exposure to assessing the hydraulic impacts of land development proposals
  • Expertise in either GIS, ArcGIS, or QGIS
