Job Description

This role ensures that employees and contractors possess the necessary competencies to access, work around, and operate our electricity network safely.

The successful candidate will utilise excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships across the industry, driving the best possible outcomes.

This role facilitates internal and external requirements associated with Network Operations and Access Standards.

The position involves determining training needs for Network staff, conducting assessments, and providing broader support across the Operations team.

The key responsibilities include ensuring network access and operational standards are up-to-date and compliant, developing and delivering training programs, auditing competency levels, and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the Electricity Supply industry
  • Strong knowledge of Transmission and Distribution systems
  • Qualifications in assessment, training, and investigation (4098, 11551, 11552, ICAM)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • A safety-first mindset with a passion for quality assurance
