About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join our Merchandise team. As a Quality Controller, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our produce meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify product defects and work with the buying and DC teams to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Ensure records are maintained to identify high-risk produce and suppliers, liaising with growers and suppliers to address issues.
- Work cross-functionally to align quality processes and keep relevant stakeholders abreast of progress related to quality.
- Create and maintain quality dashboards, providing quality reports relating to quality.
- Follow best practice processes and metrics to ensure customers consistently get the best quality products.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in a quality control role or experience within the produce/FMCG industry.
- Great attention to detail and a passion for perfect produce.
- Proven experience as someone who is process-driven with the ability to assess qualitative and quantitative information to make sound decisions.
- Able to effectively communicate with a variety of customers and colleagues.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
