**Job Overview**
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in East Tamaki. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate vehicle records by documenting inspections, servicing, and repairs on job sheets;
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment according to company policies and manufacturer recommendations;
- Conduct thorough safety inspections to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Work collaboratively with our workshop team to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements:**
- A Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification;
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy diesel engines;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
