Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Kemp Quarries, Inc. As a critical member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our crushing and mobile equipment fleet, ensuring seamless production and minimizing downtime.

About Us:
Kemp Quarries is a leading producer of construction aggregates, primarily crushed stone, sand, and gravel. Our mining process involves drilling and blasting rock into smaller pieces, which are then crushed and screened to produce the desired sizes and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain crushing and mobile equipment fleet
- Operate and maintain company vehicles
- Repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
- Participate in scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

Requirements:
- Three years previous mechanical experience with heavy equipment and/or rock crushing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in completing work
- Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license
- CDL beneficial
