This is a unique opportunity for a skilled SLT to take on a leadership position and make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As Practice Lead, you will work closely with our senior management team to ensure we provide high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to the speech-language therapy team
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve communication services
  • Supervising and mentoring SLTs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in speech-language therapy and current membership of the New Zealand Speech-language Therapy Association
  • Clinical experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Commitment to providing individualised services and support
