We believe that healthcare plays a critical role in rehabilitation and reducing reoffending. Our Health Services team delivers patient-focused primary healthcare services to tangata within our correctional facilities.

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Team Leader to lead our health centre at Mt Eden Corrections Facility. This position requires an experienced clinician who can model culturally safe clinical practice, advance health equity for Māori, and drive positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Health Centre Manager and team to ensure seamless execution of our health services. Your experience in managing rosters, reporting, and liaising with external partners will be essential in this role.

  • Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in nursing, combined with leadership experience

  • Cultural competence, including understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application
  • Commitment to professional and ethical clinical care focused on meeting offender health needs
