Overview

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Adviser for the Depositor Compensation Scheme (DCS). As a key member of the DCS team, you will play a critical role in implementing and enhancing the DCS, ensuring its effectiveness in protecting and promoting the stability of the financial system.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions to support the DCS's objectives.
  • As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical guidance and drive data development, modelling, analysis, and systems workstreams of the DCS.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining end-to-end use of data and information to collect and provide insights and analysis.
  • Managing external and internal stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively across the team and wider group.
  • Providing intellectual and organisational leadership to colleagues with varying levels of experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in modelling, managing development of statistics and analytical techniques to provide insights.
  • Strong decision-making ability with highly developed critical thinking skills, strong analytical ability, and sound judgement.
  • A track record of managing and delivering complex and strategic project work.
