Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Programme Risk and Assurance Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading advice, support, and coordination of fit-for-purpose assurance across a significant business transformation programme.

The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills in risk and assurance leadership, coaching, consulting, and mentoring in project and programme assurance and delivery. They will also have experience in planning for and conducting project and programme assurance reviews and working with project staff to ensure recommendations are implemented.

A key aspect of this role is managing risks associated with large public sector technology and transformation programmes. Strong relationship management skills, including at the CEO/ Central Agencies/ Minister level, are essential.

The Programme Risk and Assurance Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing effective governance and compliance frameworks to mitigate risks.
