We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Auckland as a Transportation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: Ensure professional transportation of scaffolds to customers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily truck safety and maintenance checks, advise WSM of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
- Loading and Unloading: Responsible for loading to and unloading from trucks using Palfinger and/or via forklift and other means.
- Tie Downs and Ropes: Position tie downs/ropes around items to secure the scaffolds for transport.
Requirements:
- A full clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.
- Successful completion of unit standards 30072 and 16617 or have extensive previous experience operating a HIAB (Training can be booked to complete the required unit standards subject to accepting internal training agreements).
- Reliability, honesty, punctuality, high level of communication and ability to work in a team, unsupervised and under pressure.
- Flexibility for some weekend work and after hours work.
