**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Social Services Support Worker. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children who have experienced trauma.

As a Social Services Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support, advocacy, and referral services to our clients. You will work effectively with wahine and Tamariki who access our services, using identified and appropriate methods of safe practice.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of previous relevant experience and excellent relationship skills. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive and community-oriented team that is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assess situations using identified and appropriate methods of safe practice.
  • Complete required administration and file as per existing policies and procedures.
  • Receive and respond to crisis line phone calls on rostered days.
