About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Property Acquisition Manager to join our team at Connexa. The successful candidate will be responsible for the selection and acquisition of suitable telecommunications sites throughout New Zealand. This involves dealing with various stakeholders, including farmers, commercial property owners, and other individuals. Your strong background in leases and negotiation, along with relevant qualifications and experience, will set you up for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and acquire suitable telecommunications sites across different landscapes in New Zealand.
  • Negotiate with landowners and their solicitors to secure suitable tenure over telecommunications sites.
  • Manage multiple concurrent site acquisition projects to deliver sites on time and within budget.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Property or Law or equivalent combination of education and site acquisition management experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in each part of the site acquisition process, with the ability to drive performance of a wider team of subject matter experts in parallel.
  • A strong background in lease negotiation and associated documents.
  • A working knowledge of the Resource Management Act.
