Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Vocational Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our community-based support service, you will play a vital role in helping people with intellectual disabilities find and follow their dreams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individuals to identify and pursue their goals and aspirations
  • Facilitating skill-based programs and activities that promote personal growth and development
  • Building strong relationships with individuals, families, and community networks
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless support and care

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to diverse situations
  • The ability to read situations and respond quickly with empathy and compassion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full NZ driver's licence
