Healthcare Coordinator Role

About the Role
The Allied Health Clinician or Registered Nurse will oversee and support the prioritization of clinical workloads on a daily basis. The role involves overseeing various non-clinical tasks such as supporting with rosters, performance reviews, recruitment and service development.
Additionally, the role requires an expectation to support with clinical workload when needed. Ideally, this role would be combined with a clinical role within the team. This clinical aspect of the role is based in the community with an in-reach component, working in the hospital to identify patients who will benefit from the service.
This role is part of the Advancing Wellness at Home Initiative (AWHI), which aims to facilitate quicker discharges from hospital and provide Nursing and Allied Health input/rehabilitation services to patients in their own home.
The team primarily works with older adults who have been admitted to hospital with a medical condition, following a stroke, or as a result of an injury to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
