Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CISO to define and implement Fonterra's global cybersecurity strategy. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of the Cybersecurity Programme, perform risk assessments, monitor cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats, and educate the organisation. They will also communicate effectively with key stakeholders and drive a culture of cybersecurity within the Cooperative.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the IT lead team to develop strategic plans that drive business outcomes and create a cybersecurity strategy.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management frameworks and processes, conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing Cyber Security team.
  • Operations: Implement and manage the daily operations of the cybersecurity strategy, protect IP, and devise risks to minimise cyber-attacks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility: Align cybersecurity planning with Fonterra's sustainability and environmental goals.

About You

We are looking for an experienced CISO with several years of leadership in large, complex organisations and leading multinational teams. You will have a strong background in IT and a keen understanding of IT and cybersecurity marketplace trends across industry. You will be a strong leader with the capability to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cyber security team.
