We offer rigorous academic training and specialized clinical opportunities in Dunedin's prestigious psychiatric hospitals.
As a Psychiatrist Registrar, you will have access to a range of rotations, including emergency psychiatry services, youth specialty services, and specialist addiction services.
You will also have the opportunity to pursue Advanced Training in RANZCP sub-speciality Certificates and work closely with leading academics in the field if you wish to pursue research in mental health and addictions.
The program includes protected day-release teaching during the university semester, ensuring that you have time to focus on your studies while still gaining valuable clinical experience.
Our ideal candidate will have registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration.
