Corporate Banking Credit Analyst Role

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Credit Analyst to join our team of experts in Westpac New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality credit analysis and risk management services to support the growth and success of our business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market. You will have experience in financial analysis and credit, as well as a deep understanding of commercial and corporate lending practices.
You will work closely with Relationship Managers to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing accurate and timely credit assessments and recommendations to support their business needs.
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Provide high-quality credit analysis and risk management services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and provide recommendations to Relationship Managers
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks
- Implement effective credit management strategies to mitigate risks
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and credit
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
