**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team of professionals in Corporate Banking. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert credit analysis and risk management services to support the growth and success of our business.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market. You will have experience in financial analysis and credit, as well as a deep understanding of commercial and corporate lending practices.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing accurate and timely credit assessments and recommendations to support their business needs.

In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective credit management strategies to mitigate these risks.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert credit analysis and risk management services to support business growth and success
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and provide recommendations to Relationship Managers
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks
  • Implement effective credit management strategies to mitigate risks

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and credit
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
