Job Opportunity:
We are seeking highly qualified individuals to fill the role of Healthcare Lecturer at New Zealand Skills & Education Group. This position involves teaching our PostGraduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Health, with a focus on Mental Health and/or Addiction.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver courses using effective and engaging teaching methods and materials.
- Design and develop course content and assessments as per NZQA standards.
- Participate in and work on research projects.
- Face-to-face and online delivery of classes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in teaching at a tertiary level within the Mental Health and/or Addiction capacity.
- Hold a PhD.
- Must be Research Active.
- Experience with using assessment, evaluation and review processes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Previous experience developing programmes and courses on the NZQA framework.
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 or above or willing to work towards.
