About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Health Care Assistant in Intensive and Coronary Care at Rotorua Hospital. The role will include all general aspects of healthcare worker duties in the inpatient setting, including clinical care, equipment maintenance, and stock ordering.
The job will also focus on the HCA role providing care as a care companion, sometimes as a one-on-one carer. The rostering for this position is across Day and Evening shifts, 7 days a week, and may progress to nights in the future.
Applicants require:
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing needs and priorities

- The ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to support whānau members who have whānau in ICU/CCU
