Avionics and Mechanical Assembly Specialist

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Rocket Lab Usa's Electron team as a Vehicle Integration Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing mechanical and/or avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle. The successful candidate will have 2+ years' relevant experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly, a good level of eyesight, and be comfortable working to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Install mechanical and/or avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
* Inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standard
* Manufacture components to a high workmanship standard
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
