Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Rocket Lab Usa. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, testing, and launching our Electron rocket. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly motivated and dedicated team.

The Mechanical Production team works closely with test engineers and design engineers to achieve the highest product quality and safety standards for Rocket Lab launch vehicles. As a Technician, you will be responsible for receiving components from the supply chain and completing the assembly and testing of those components before passing them on to the Integration team.

You will be hands-on, working with tools, equipment, and/or facilities to build, launch or test Rocket Lab launch vehicles or components. To be successful in this role, you will require trade qualification in relevant industry or 4+ years of relevant industry experience. Additionally, you must be comfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service. A good level of eyesight is also essential for inspecting assemblies to a high workmanship standard.
