Company Overview

We are part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leading the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand. Our organisation weaves the functions of 20 former District Health Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuring continuity of services in the health system.

The Team

Our team is responsible for providing forensic mental health services to a population of approximately 700,000 within the South Island of New Zealand. We work closely with local communities, courts, probation, corrections, and outreach services to provide comprehensive care.

The Role

We currently have a part-time, permanent role for a Forensic Psychiatrist. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in hospital and outpatient settings. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for our patients.
