About the Role
The successful candidate will lead our early years team in ensuring that all practitioners understand their responsibilities to all children, including those with special educational needs. This includes developing and implementing the setting's approach to identifying and meeting the needs of children with SEND.
We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. As a Senior Nursery Practitioner - SENCO, you will work closely with the nursery manager to ensure that our practices are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and support for practitioners on planning and delivery of the Early Years curriculum for all children.
- Liaising with outside agencies and other professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible support.
- Leading the planning, delivery, and monitoring of targeted support for all children, including those with SEND.
- Working closely with parents and carers to ensure they are well informed about their child's progress.
