Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Animal Compliance Officer to ensure public safety and compliance in South Auckland.

The successful candidate will work independently with support, managing a variety of interesting and challenging cases related to dog control and stock management.

This role involves working within the Dog Control Act 1996 and Council policies and procedures to respond to public complaints about dog and stock control; customer requests for services including managing aggressive and/or barking dogs, dog attacks, wandering dogs, stock issues; and providing requirements for proactive patrolling and assistance with prosecutions.
