About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business through detailed analysis of your assigned territory, identifying fresh customers and market opportunities.

You will also grow existing accounts by executing a proactive sales plan, addressing areas such as lost or declining business within your current customer base. Additionally, you will:

  • Proactively pursue new sales opportunities and business leads
  • Maintain and grow a customer portfolio and revenue base, driving long-term business success
  • Provide field technical support to customers and maintain close communication with key internal teams such as supply chain, credit, and operations
  • Develop key relationships with customers across procurement, engineering, logistics, planning, maintenance, and contracts

About You:

We are looking for a passionate individual who is ready to learn, develop and thrive in a technical sales environment. While B2B sales experience is a plus, what matters most is your ability to engage with clients, problem-solve and work collaboratively to achieve results.

In addition, you will have:

  • A keen interest in sales and client engagement, ideally within similar industries (technical knowledge of pipes, valves, and fittings would be a plus)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage contracts
  • A proactive mindset, willing to explore new ideas and approaches to achieve sales targets
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, make effective decisions, and manage time efficiently
  • Adaptability in the face of an ever-changing market environment
